FISK, Mo. — Nancy J. Morris, 91, of Port Byron, New York passed away at home Thursday, Jan. 20, 2022.
Nancy was a mother to five children, a grandmother to five children, great-grandmother to 12 children and great-great-grandmother to nine children.
She was predeceased by her husband, Rev. Dolen Morris, her sons, Dolen, John Allen and Quinton Edward. She is survived by her children, Helen Kay Morris of Port Byron, New York and Dennis (Kim) Morris of Rochester, New York; and a brother, Jack Maddox of Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Nancy was married to the love of her life for 68 years. She was a homemaker and also worked at multiple car dealerships as a clerk and was a bank teller at multiple banks during her lifetime.
Nancy was born in St Louis, Missouri to Deloy Maddox and Dena Sparkman Maddox. The family moved to Poplar Bluff, Missouri where she grew up. In 1964, she and Dolen and family moved to upstate New York. She will be dearly missed by her family but now at peace buried in Broseley, Missouri next to her loving husband.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2022 at White-Sanders Funeral Home in Fisk.
