Minnie Mae Wisdom Muskopf, 86, of Poplar Bluff, passed away Thursday, January 21, 2021 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. Minnie was born August 21, 1934 to Earl and Katie (Becker) Fulton in Tupelo, Miss. She and Charles William Wisdom were married May 13, 1950 in Poplar Bluff. He passed away August of 1992. She and Russell Raymond Muskopf were married June 1, 1996 in Poplar Bluff. He survives...

Minnie Mae Wisdom Muskopf, 86, of Poplar Bluff, passed away Thursday, January 21, 2021 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Minnie was born August 21, 1934 to Earl and Katie (Becker) Fulton in Tupelo, Miss. She and Charles William Wisdom were married May 13, 1950 in Poplar Bluff. He passed away August of 1992. She and Russell Raymond Muskopf were married June 1, 1996 in Poplar Bluff. He survives.

Minnie was a cashier for Gilispie Market for many years before she began her dog grooming business. She owned and operated Char-Min Poodle Parlor for over 50 years. Minnie was a championship Pekingese dog breeder and loved showing her Pekingese dogs. She gained many friends and associates through her dog grooming and breeding business.

Minnie was a member of Beta Sigma Phi. Her sorority sisters were very special to her and she loved the time she shared with them. She often reminisced about her time volunteering for the Ombudsman Program, serving residents in nursing homes and federal housing.

Minnie enjoyed her travels. She traveled the country with her champion Pekingese dogs and she loved cruising with family and friends.

Minnie’s loving and generous heart is known by all who have known her and will never be forgotten by the lives she has touched. Minnie was very active in her family’s lives. She was active in the Girl Scouts serving as a leader for many years. She was a very loving and protective grandmother. She took pride in caring and loving all those she came to know, and was known as “grandma” to current and past exchange students.

In addition to her husband, Minnie is survived by two children, Lisa Yeager and Steve and Sheila Wisdom all of Poplar Bluff; three grandchildren, Holly and Jon Lintner of Jackson, Mo., Shelli and Howard Stacy and Steve and Barbara Wisdom both of Poplar Bluff; four great-grandchildren, Zane, Peyton and Trey Charlie Lintner all of Jackson, Mo. and Charlie Wisdom of Poplar Bluff; a sister, Havis Virginia Anderson of Arnold, Mo.; a niece, Angie Anderson of Imperial, Mo. and a nephew, Benjamin Anderson of Arnold, Mo.

In addition to her first husband and parents, Minnie is preceded in death by a daughter, Lanette Wisdom; a son-in-law, Bruce Yeager and a sister, Anna Lou Brown.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 26 from noon until time of service at Willow Ridge Funeral and Cremation Service. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Steve Patterson officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Garden Cemetery.
