Michael “Mike” Joe Price, son of the late Willie and Delores (Yates) Price, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ June 2, 2022 at his residence in Ellsinore, Missouri with his family by his side. He was born in Poplar Bluff, Missouri Feb. 26, 1958, and was united in marriage July 24, 1976 to Patty Miller at Harmony General Baptist Church in Ellsinore.
Mike was self-employed in the lumber industry. He was also a pastor for 27 years and preached at churches in the area. He loved to preach the Word of God. Mike enjoyed watching the grandchildren play ball and having all 6 of them in his home. He liked to spend time raising chickens, gardening, and canning.
He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Patty Price of Ellsinore; son, Zach Price (Martha) of Ellsinore; daughter, Nicole Brangwin (Peter) of Lawrenceville, Georgia; grandchildren, Cason Price, John Brangwin, Chloe Price, Claire Brangwin, Cohen Price and Kate Brangwin; brother, Don Price (Evelyn) of Ellsinore; sisters, Donna Norviel (Derick) of Ellsinore and Debbie Price (Sam) of Poplar Bluff; many relatives and friends who mourn his passing.
A visitation will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 6, 2022, in the Ellsinore First Assembly Church in Ellsinore with the funeral services following at 1 p.m. in the Church Chapel. Les Davenport, Kim Wilson and Dwight Griffin will be officiating. Burial will be in the Harmony Cemetery in Ellsinore.
