Melvin Kenneth Null, age 81, of Puxico, Missouri, died Saturday, July 31, 2021, at his residence, in Puxico. Mr. Null was born May 12, 1940, son of the late Raymond Floyd and Winnie Hazel Null. He worked for Asa Asphalt Company in Advance for over twenty years. He loved hunting, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren...

Melvin Kenneth Null, age 81, of Puxico, Missouri, died Saturday, July 31, 2021, at his residence, in Puxico. Mr. Null was born May 12, 1940, son of the late Raymond Floyd and Winnie Hazel Null.

He worked for Asa Asphalt Company in Advance for over twenty years. He loved hunting, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

On April 22, 1960, he married Barbara Mitchell. She survives.

He is also survived by five children, Kenny (Tammy) Null, Jimmy (Clardean) Null, Stanley Null, Ronda Wolfe, all of Puxico and Ruthie Quick, of Wappapello; two brothers, Virgil Null, of Cape Girardeau, and Bob Null, of Poplar Bluff; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his stepmother, Frieda Spears and two brothers, Clifford and Donald Null.

Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Thursday, August 5 at White-Sanders Funeral Home in Fisk. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Ray Placher and Rev. Kenneth Lambert officiating. Burial will be at Puxico Cemetery in Puxico, MO.
