Matthew Barker

FAIRDEALING, Mo. - Matthew Alan Barker, 31, of Fairdealing, Missouri, died Monday, January 14, 2019, at his home.

Mr. Barker, son of Shawn and Dronda (Tighe) Barker, was born April 16, 1987, in Rockford, Illinois. He was a carpenter in the construction industry. Matthew loved all outdoors, especially fishing, kayaking and hunting and enjoyed spending time with his family.

He is survived by his parents; Shawn and Dronda Barker of Fairdealing, two children and their mother; Lucas and Laura Barker and Kimber Thomas, all of Doniphan, two brothers; Michael Barker of Poplar Bluff, Mo. and Christopher Barker of Fairdealing, and one sister; Alethea Baker of Doniphan.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Arron Zweep.

There will a be memorial service on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at noon at the Pilgrim’s Rest Church in Fairdealing.
