Mary Sue Heaton, 77, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, passed away July 4, 2021 in the St. Claire Hospital at Fenton, Missouri. Mary Sue Heaton, 77, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, passed away July 4, 2021 in the St. Claire Hospital at Fenton, Missouri. She was born August 21, 1043 at Poplar Bluff, Missouri to Monroe ‘Pete’ Davis and Virginia Seely Davis.

On May 19, 1961 She was married to Jack Heaton, at Poplar Bluff, Missouri. He survives.

Also surviving is one daughter, Angela Thurston and husband, Ronnie of Wappapello, Missouri and one daughter-in-law, Tina Heaton of Ozark, Missouri; one sister, JoAnn Bruce of Poplar Bluff as well as grandchildren, Ashley Lepold and husband, Nick and Jacklyn Heaton, one great-grandchild, Mary Claire and bonus grandchildren, Brad, Mandy and Blaire Holloway.

She is preceded in death by her parents and one son, Richard Doyle Heaton and one brother, DeLane Davis.

She was a member of the Shiloh General Baptist Church at Shook, Missouri. She was a home maker and enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren, cooking, crafts, puzzles. She loved animals and making fudge ice cream.

Visitation for Mrs. Heaton will be Wednesday, July 7 starting at 2 p.m. with the funeral following at 3 pm all in the Fowler and Sons Funeral Home at Neelyville, Missouri. Burial will be in the Qulin Cemetery, Qulin, Missouri with Brother Ronnie Webb officiating.
