Mary Virginia ‘Johnson’ Wilborn, 93, of Naylor, Missouri passed away, April 4, 2022, at the Current River Nursing Center in Doniphan.
She was born September 9, 1928, in Naylor to Carl Aden and Alice Adaline ‘Rowe’ Aden.
She was married to Woodrow Johnson who preceded her in death. She then married Ralph Wilborn who also preceded her in death.
She is survived by two sons, Chuck Johnson (Janice) and Woody Johnson both of Naylor and two daughters; Penny Fowler-Hopwood (Ramie) of Doniphan and Mary Dollins (Winfred Lucy) of Naylor as well as twelve grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother, Bob Aden of Neelyville and one sister, Martha ‘Aden’ Bruner of Naylor as well as nieces, nephews and many friends.
She is preceded by her husbands, parents and one son, Barry “Bub” Johnson and two daughters, Vivian Sue Somers and Carla Hudson.
Mary was a homemaker and the mother to her children. She was also past president of Ladies Auxiliary of American Legion Post 643 of Naylor. She helped work with Gum Cemetery in Naylor and fixed meals at her home for Sears Youth center for the fishing trips. She enjoyed the outdoors, gardening and canning.
Visitation will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 9 with the funeral following at noon all in the Fowler and Sons Funeral Home in Neelyille. Burial will be in the Gum Cemetery in Naylor.
