Marjorie "Marge" Jean Osborn, 78, of Poplar Bluff passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Mo.
Marge was born May 25, 1939 in Poplar Bluff, Mo., daughter of the late Eugene and Dorothy Garrett. She was a member of Second Baptist Church but attended and was very active at Agee Fellowship Church. On Sept. 13, 1958 she married Robert J. Osborn.
She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years; a sister, Janice (Roger) Desgranges of Poplar Bluff; three nieces, Kathleen (John) Pattillo of Poplar Bluff, Rhonda (Blake) Cox of Walnut Ridge, Ark., and Amy (Brian) Collins of Woodlands, Texas; and 11 great-nieces and nephews.
Marge retired after 43 years of dedicated service at Commerce Bank. She was the first female bank officer. She enjoyed collecting frog, peacock, and Coca-Cola products, watching the QVC Channel, and accessorizing her outfits with colorful watches and purses.
Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Agee Fellowship Church, 38 County Road 525 Highway W. A celebration of Marge's life will follow at 2 p.m. with Rev. Jim Schremp officiating. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to Agee Fellowship Children's Ministry and/or the American Diabetes Association.
