Margie was born July 18, 1927 in Perry County, Ark. to the late Virgil and Melissa Pruett. She worked several jobs in housekeeping, food service and beauty consulting. She met her beloved husband, James Howard Hatfield and they were married in Piggott, Ark. April 12, 1946. He preceded her in death.

Loving survivors include her children: Donna (Jim) Patterson of North Chicago, Ill., Carla Aldridge of Cape Girardeau and Tia (Mark) Fadler of Jackson. Her grandchildren: James Hatfield, Pam Hatfield, Philip Eastman, Lisa Thomas, Shelby Fadler and Conner Fadler; and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Late in her life, Margie was fortunate to have two special companions, Euel Lewis and Evelyn Buffington.
