ELIZABETHTOWN, Kentucky — Margie C. Durall, 86, of Rineyville, Kentucky, died Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2020 at her home. She was a native of Stoddard County, Missouri, retired from UARCO as an inspector, and was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, where she won the chili cook-off last year. She was an artist and loved to paint. She was a mother figure to many people and enjoyed being with her family...

ELIZABETHTOWN, Kentucky — Margie C. Durall, 86, of Rineyville, Kentucky, died Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2020 at her home.

She was a native of Stoddard County, Missouri, retired from UARCO as an inspector, and was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, where she won the chili cook-off last year. She was an artist and loved to paint. She was a mother figure to many people and enjoyed being with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Lawrence Durall; parents, Carl V. and Susie Burge Harper; sister, Kay Wallace; and granddaughter, Raechel.

She is survived by her son, Carl Durall of Rineyville; two daughters, Deborah Durall of Rineyville and Rebecca Durall of Jeffersonville, Indiana; eight grandchildren, Kevin Durall, Christina Holloway Skaer, Charity Rivera, George Skaer, Michael Harrigan, Chris Harrigan, Regina Huffman, and Amanda Davis; 25 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

The funeral is at 4 p.m. Saturday at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown, Kentucky, with Pastor Peter Martin officiating.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Faith Lutheran Church or to Brown Church Cemetery in Puxico, Missouri.
