She functioned as an executive secretary within large corporations spanning many years and several states.

She was a devoted and active member of The Seventh Day Adventist Church on Roxie Rd. in Poplar Bluff where she held many offices over the years including that of church clerk. She enjoyed playing piano at services and spent hours putting together the church bulletin which she considered a labor of love. She functioned as treasurer for the church’s local affiliate of 3 Angels Broadcasting Radio.

Lorita was an artist, pianist and an avid reader, her favorite book being the Bible. She had a passion for the outdoors and enjoyed everything from canoeing to mowing the yard to sitting quietly watching the sunset over a lake. She loved traveling and was always ready to experience new places and sights. Her calm, open, loving demeanor won the hearts of all who knew her.

Our Lorita is now sleeping in the Lord, waiting for her Beloved Jesus’ soon return to take us to Heaven.
