FISK, Mo. - Loretta Hillis, age 88, of Poplar Bluff, MO, formerly of Broseley died Sunday, February 11, 2018 at Oakdale Care Center, in Poplar Bluff, MO. Mrs. Hillis was born July 2, 1929 in Broseley, MO, daughter of the late Ulys and Jewell (Thomas) Vancil. She was a member of Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff. On July 2, 1948 she married Virgil Hillis. He preceded her in death on November 13, 2014. She is survived by one brother: Floyd Vancil and wife Beverly of Poplar Bluff and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by one sister: Vialita Albert and three brothers: Charles, Melvin and Donald Vancil. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at White-Sanders Funeral Home, Fisk. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev.
