Mrs. Lois Kathryn “Kathy” (Heath) Williams, 86, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, departed this life Nov. 26, 2021.
She was born Sept. 21, 1935 at Ash Flat, Arkansas, the daughter of Fibren Wilson and Norma (Byrd) Heath. On Jan. 24, 1961, Miss Kathy Heath married Mr. Jimmy Gray Williams, and together they spend 41 years.
Mrs. Williams was a graduate of Tuckerman High School, and a retired receptionist for Dr. Walker Long and Dr. Jerry Long. She enjoyed spending time with her family, neighbors, and beloved pets.
Mrs. Williams was an active member of Highland Drive Church of Christ. She faithfully attended, never missing a Wednesday or Sunday service.
Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Williams; three brothers, J.W. Heath, Franklin Heath, and Kenneth Heath; five sisters, Viola Beatrice Tulledge, Joy Mae Heath, Bernice Horton, Eunice Francis Heath, and Dean Fortenberry; and her parents.
She is survived by Diane Brinsfield of Newport; sister-in-law, Melba Williams Holt Yazell of Poplar Bluff; nephews, Boyce Holt and Benny Holt (Debby); and great-nieces, Sarah Holt and Hannah Holt of Poplar Bluff.
Funeral services are 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 18, 2021 at Jackson’s Newport Funeral Home Chapel in Newport, Arkansas, with interment in Coffeyville Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home from 1 p.m. Saturday to service time. Arrangements by Jackson’s Newport Funeral Home.
