Linda Wren Broderick (Brookreson), 85, died on Monday, July 11, 2022.
There were visitations at Charlet Funeral Home, Inc. in Zachary, Louisiana Thursday, July 14, 2022 and Friday, July 15, 2022 at the Jackson Methodist Church in Jackson, Louisiana until funeral services at 11 a.m., conducted by Rev. Chris Curry. Burial was at Masonic Cemetery in Clinton, Louisiana.
Linda was a lifelong sculptor and a painter who was very active in the Feliciana Arts. She was a member of several art guilds.
She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Scott M. Broderick; two daughters: Heather Lea Wren of Belfast, Maine; Shannon Wren Couhig of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; one son, Jason Severy Wren and his wife Kimberly of Denver, Colorado; three sisters-in-law: Sue Brookreson of San Antonio, Texas; Frances Wren of Long Beach, Mississippi; Judie Wren of Jacksonville, Florida; two grandchildren: Peter Wren McGuyer and wife Savannah; Blake Wren; and three great-grandchildren: Jude, Ruby, and Asher McGuyer.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Pete Wren; one brother, Dr. Davis Brookreson; and grandson, William McGuyer.
Pallbearers were Patrick Broderick, Gary Broderick, Peter Broderick, Frank Leggett, Charles Kruetz, and Peter McGuyer. Honorary pallbearer was Doug Hammond.
