Lillie J. Montgomery, 92, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., died Friday, Aug. 24, 2018 at Westwood Hills Nursing Home.
She was born Sept. 30, 1925, to the late Henry C. Boling and Elsie G. Avey Boling. Lillie was a longtime resident of Poplar Bluff. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
She married George T. Montgomery on June 30, 1945 in Indiana. He preceded her in death.
Lillie was a loving mother and grandmother.
She is survived by three sons, Mike Montgomery of Indianapolis, Indiana, Doug Montgomery and William Montgomery, both of Poplar Bluff; four daughters, Joann Lewis and Sharon Ellis, both of Poplar Bluff, Sue Redmon of Whitman, Arizona, and Christine Rucker of Jonesboro, Arkansas; one sister, Deanne Moore of Gosport, Indiana; 18 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and many great-great grandchildren.
Lillie was preceded in death by one son, Gary Montgomery; one brother James Boling; and one sister, Mary Jo Pilto.
A visitation will be from 9-10:30 a.m. Aug. 29, at Fitch-Hillis Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will be in the Catholic Cemetery.
