POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. — Lester Silas Storey Jr., 50, of Williamsville, Mo., died Monday, July 22, 2019 at his residence. The visitation will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 25 at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff. The funeral will follow at noon in the chapel with Bishop Ron Webb officiating. Burial will follow at Hamtown Cemetery in Butler County.

POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. — Lester Silas Storey Jr., 50, of Williamsville, Mo., passed away Monday, July 22, 2019 at his residence.

Les, the son of Lester Silas Storey Sr. and Ellen Lorene (Withrow) Conder, was born March 15, 1969 in St. Louis, Mo. He was member of Mt. Calvary Powerhouse Church where he and Bishop Webb were close friends. Les was employed at Smith and Company as a surveyor. He had a passion for Three Rivers Raiders and thought of Coach Gene Bess as a father figure. Les also enjoyed hunting, fishing and his beagle dogs.

Survivors include his mother, Ellen Conder of Poplar Bluff; two sisters, Pamela Fox of Bull Shoals, Ark. and Donna Crowley of Poplar Bluff; a brother, Doug Ward of Poplar Bluff.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lester Silas Storey Sr. and two brothers, Gary Wright and Stanley Wright.

The visitation will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 25 at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff. The funeral will follow at noon in the chapel with Bishop Ron Webb officiating. Burial will follow at Hamtown Cemetery in Butler County.
