CORNING, Ark. - Leo Laverne Hefner, 61, of Corning passed away Sunday, Dec. 2, 2018 at home surrounded by family.

Born March 8, 1957 in Poplar Bluff, Mr. Hefner was retired from Baker Implement where he was a service manager. He enjoyed gardening, computers, collecting, and spending time with his family and friends.

On Nov. 5, 1988, he married Judy Hefner. She survives.

Other survivors include his children Laurie (Tommy) Arnold of Paragould and Tammy (Jeff Hancock) Overstreet of Doniphan, Mo.; brother Charles (Kathy) Hefner of Sherman, Texas; sisters. Kathleen Bader of Campbell, Mo. and Maria (Bill) Tate of Wildwood, Mo.; and grandchildren Logan (Laura) Arnold, Chris (Morgan Lovins) Stickles of Poplar Bluff and Tayla Arnold of Paragould.

He was preceded in death by his parents Cleattus and Theresia (Deken) Hefner.

Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday at Ermert Funeral Home in Corning. Funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Carl Thomason officiating. Cremation will follow.
