KENNETT, Mo. — Laymon S. “Joey” Bishop Jr., 58, son of the late Laymon S. Bishop, Sr. and Virginia Dare Tipton, was born Sept. 2, 1963 in Cahokia, Illinois and died Nov. 10, 2021 in Senath, Missouri.
Survivors include brothers, Wayne Bishop and D. L. Bishop, both of Linn, Missouri, Leonard Bishop of O’Fallon, Missouri and John Fuller of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; sisters, Kelcy Bishop Light of O’Fallon, Lisa Bishop Sprouse of Rolla, Missouri and Janet Fuller Cobb of Broseley, Missouri; other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Melvin, Jerry and Eugene Bishop; and a sister, Regina Bishop Reed.
Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
