NEELYVILLE, Mo.— Earl “Lavell” Wheetley Sr., 65, of Harviell, Missouri passed away Friday, May 27, 2022, at Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
He was born, June 12, 1956, at Pocahontas, Arkansas to the late Earl B. Wheetley and Maglean “Cobb” Wheetley.
On Feb. 18, 1978, he was married to Pamela Tubb at Harviell, Missouri. She survives.
Also surviving: Two sons, Joey Wheetley and Earl Wheetley (Nikki), and daughter, Amanda “Amy” Wheetley (Chris), all of Harviell. He also is survived by two brothers, Lyndell Wheetley of Corning, Arkansas and Virgil Wheetley of Naylor, Missouri; four sisters, Earlean Cook of Biggers, Arkansas, Velma Jean Holcomb, Diane Brown, and Sarah Beth Calhoun, all of Corning, Arkansas, as well as six grandchildren, Matthew, Makayla, Jalynn, Madison, Mason, and Maci; and one great-grandchild, Emersyn.
Lavell had worked for Briggs and Stratton. He enjoyed fishing, watching cattle, gardening and enjoyed his grandchildren and great-grandchild as well as auctions.
Visitation will be Tuesday, May 31, 2022, starting at 11:30 a.m. with the funeral following at 1 p.m. all in the Fowler and Son Funeral Home at Neelyville, Missouri. Burial will be in the Naylor Memorial Cemetery.
