Karin Kay Telle, 55, of Tampa, Florida, formerly of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, June 2, 2021, at Melech Hospice House in Temple Terrace, Florida. Karin Kay Telle, 55, of Tampa, Florida, formerly of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, June 2, 2021, at Melech Hospice House in Temple Terrace, Florida.

Karin, the daughter of Clinton ‘Tom’ Telle of Mesa, Arizona and Donna Reed of Columbia, Missouri, was born September 1, 1965, in Poplar Bluff. She graduated in 1983 from Poplar Buff High School. She graduated from Arkansas State University in 1987 with a Bachelor degree in Science. While at ASU she was a pitcher for the soft ball team. In 1989, Karin received her Master of Science degree from Western Illinois University. After moving to Tulsa, Oklahoma, she obtained her LPN License. Karin loved nursing and felt she had finally found her calling. She later moved to Florida where she continued her nursing career. Her greatest joy in life was her faith and her love for Christ.

Karin enjoyed physical exercising, especially jogging. She also enjoyed watching sports, especially softball and being on the water.

Survivors include her parents; two sisters, Angie Swasho of Poplar Bluff and Sherry Helm of Cape Girardeau; brother, Dr. Todd Telle of San Diego; several nieces and nephews.

A private funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 9 at Cotrell Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Jerry Moore officiating. Burial will follow at the Poplar Bluff City Cemetery.
