Julia Joyce Prince of Poplar Bluff, Mo. passed away on Friday, Nov. 16, 2018 in her home at the age of 90.

She was united in marriage to Robert "Jack" Prince of Arkansas on Dec. 10, 1946 In Poplar Bluff, Mo., and was married for 69 years up until his passing on Aug. 15, 2015.
She is survived by one sister, Dora Marie Hunter-Osborne of Festus, Mo., and six children: Lorie Holloway (Kurt), Robert J. Prince (Shari) of Snohomish, Wash., Christie I. Prince, Roberta J. Prince of Gainesville, Mo., Gregory W. Prince of North Carolina, Dorenda J. Engel of Arkansas; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
Although her life was very challenging with the raising of her children, she was always a loving mother and a gentle soul to everyone. She worked very hard her whole life, was always a positive person and had more miles on her tiny legs than most heavily used vehicles. She was a lover of nature, land, the forest and rivers -- all creatures great and small. Her favorite was working for the CSEP unit of the National Forestry Department for over 25 years. She had such a beautiful spirit and was like a lovely woodland fairy. She drew out and navigated a map for the Mark Twain National Forest before they ended the program. Her wisdom and knowledge of this area was amazing from the plants and flowers to the History of Poplar Bluff. She enjoyed bluegrass and folk music and could play the piano, organ, dulcimer, and the accordion.
Special loved ones and friends were Mary Miler, Jim and Brenda, Carolyn Blatz, Evelyn Davidson, Sarah Carmickle, and Jared
Thank you to all the grandchildren during this hard time that helped and to Pyramid/Tri county hospice for all their love and support.
A private ceremony of life for her and her husband will be held with friends and family at a later date. For the placing of their combined ashes.
Her unconditional love has touched many and will be forever remembered and missed. We have lost a true Earth Angel.
