FISK, Mo. - John Wayne Stratton, age 61, of Bernie, Mo., died Saturday, November 18, 2017 at his residence, in Bernie. Mr. Stratton was born September 11, 1956 in Gideon, Mo., son of the late John Quincy and Dorothy (Earls) Stratton.
On April 26, 2004 he married Shirley DeMesa. She preceded him in death on May 18, 2010. He is survived by his fiancée: Mary Butler of Bernie; five children: Quincy Wayne Stratton of Jonesboro, Ark., Gabriel John Stratton of Bernie, Fraisher Morales of San Diego, Calif., Frenzel Morales of Cape Girardeau, Mo., and Christy Adams of Jonesboro, Ark.; One brother: Steve Stratton of Caneyville, Ky., three sisters: Vickie Ard of Poplar Bluff, Robin Vaughn of Qulin, and Kim Coleman of Doniphan and several grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by one sister: Louetta Robards. Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. on Tuesday at White-Sanders Funeral Home in Fisk. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Gerald Berger officiating. Burial will be in Brown Chapel Cemetery at Broseley, Mo.
