Joanna Davis

FISK, Mo. — Joanna Davis, age 80, of Fisk, passed away Saturday, April 13, 2019 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Mo. Mrs. Davis was born October 5, 1938 in Fisk, daughter of the late Raymond and Orena (Tyree) Roberts.

Joanna was a nurse for 17 years then drove a truck for Willie Shaw and Ed Eubanks. She retired in 2008. She will be remembered most for being an avid Cardinal Fan and had her 70th birthday party at a Cardinal game. She loved reading and playing with her nieces, nephews, great and great great nieces and nephews.

She is survived by three brothers, Jim Roberts of Fairdealing, Ira Roberts of Fisk and Ben Roberts of Benton, Illinois. and two sisters, Earlene Garner and Sherry Cooper (Jerry) both of Fisk.

She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Shelby Cox and Fay Roberts.

Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 20 at White-Sanders Funeral Home in Fisk. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Dale Epstein officiating. Burial will be in Shain Memorial Cemetery at Fisk. Condolences: www.whitesandersfuneralhome.com
