NEELYVILLE, Mo. - Jimmy Gale Jones, 81 of Neelyville, Mo. passed away October 19, 2017 at Poplar Bluff, Mo. He was born December 22, 1935 at Peach Orchard, Mo. to the late Russell Jones and Eva Anna Malin Jones. On August 4, 1956 at Hernando, Miss. He was married to Wanda St. Cin. She departed this life on February 5, 2010. Then on May 13, 2011 at Corning, Ark., he was married to Orlena St. Cin Emmons. She preceded him in death on December 21, 2013.
Surviving are children; Teresa Hobbs and husband Randy of Poplar Bluff, Jimmy Jones and wife Tonnie of Doniphan, Mo., Rhonda Uhl and husband Danny of Fairdealing, Mo., Chris Jones and wife Carrie of Neelyville, one stepson; Freddie Emmons and wife Amy of Neelyville and a step-daughter, Sheila Merchant and husband Will of Neelyville, 12 grandchildren; Scott McBroom, Rikki Johson, Parker Jones, Aaron Jones, Shelby Moon, Wyatt Moon, Bubba Jones, Chad Jones, Michaela Jones, Jerimiah Blackshear, Josh Blackshear and Rocky Nierman and ten great grandchildren survive. Preceding Mr. Jones in death were his parents, two sisters and one brother; Bobby Jones.
He had graduated from Neelyville High School and had served on the Neelyville School board as well as being on the Coon Island Fire Dept. He was a member of the Naylor Pentecostal Church and also had attended Coon Island General Baptist Church.
He enjoyed hunting deer, squirrel, raccoon and turkey along with fishing.
Visitation will be at 6 p.m. Saturday, October 21 in the Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel in Neelyville. The funeral will follow at 2 p.m. with Donnie Fowler and Bro. Allen Leutert officiating. Burial will be in the Coon Island Cemetery.
