Jessie Mae Wootton, 81, of Montgomery, Illinois, passed away March 21, 2021 at RML Specialty Hospital in Chicago. She was born September 24, 1939 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, daughter of Earve Sr. and Pauline (Mann) Aldridge. Jessie was employed by West Suburban Bank in various departments for over 20 years.

Jessie is survived by one son, Steven (Lynn); one sister, Mildred (George) Brichard); three brothers, Eugene, Earve Jr. (Carla) and Mike (Karma); six grandchildren, Lindsay (Shawn), Ashley (Dan), Nicole (John), Christopher, Adam and Samantha; eight great-grandchildren, Isaac, Bentley, Ella, Charles, Andrew, Theodore, Conor and Luke. Jessie was a dear aunt to many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Billy Sr.; one son, Billy Jr (Kathy); three sisters, Ruby (the late Gary) Needer, Brenda (Elbert) Clark, Dorothy (Claude) Mize; two brothers, Billy and Jack.

Per Jessie’s wishes she will be buried in Poplar Bluff, Missouri beside her late husband. The family will have a memorial service at the Episcopal Church of The Holy Cross on June 26, 2021.
