Jerry Lee Talley of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away Sunday, Oct. 28, 2018 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center, at the age of 77.
Jerry was born Nov. 15, 1941 to the late Jake and Hazel Talley of Des Arc, Mo. Jerry graduated from Des Arc High School in 1958. He retired from General Motors after many years of service. He attended the Palace of Praise church in Poplar Bluff, Mo.
On June 5, 1993 Jerry was united in marriage to Suedel Lashley.
Jerry is survived by his loving wife Suedel, his son Russ (Jennifer) Talley of Wentzville, Mo., son Jon Talley of Montgomery City, Mo., stepdaughter Paula (Allen) Gallamore of Poplar Bluff, Mo. and stepson Kevin (Susan) Lashley.
two sisters; Alice (Vernon) Sutton of Poplar Bluff, Mo., Paula (Denny) Berry of Arnold, Mo.; grandchildren; Audrey Talley, Jennifer Talley, Christian Gallamore, Van Gallamore, Nichkolas Gallamore, Justin (Emily) Lashley and many other family members.
He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother Jim Talley and a sister Veta Mae Powers.
Jerry was a loving husband, son, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He will always hold a special place in all our hearts.
Visitation will be Friday, Nov. 2 at 10 a.m. at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff. Service will follow at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Everyone will meet at Shepherd of Hills Cemetery, 1925 Old Hwy M, Barnhart, Mo. at 3 p.m. for internment.
