Jerry Brittingham, 78, of Fisk, Mo., died Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2020 at Puxico Nursing and Rehab, in Puxico, Mo.
Mr. Brittingham was born Nov. 2, 1941 in Fisk, Mo., to the late George “Smokey” and Lois Brittingham. Jerry was a barber, a self-employed car dealer and had driven a school bus for the Twin Rivers school district for 25 years. He enjoyed playing golf.
He was a member of Ash Hill General Baptist Church where he served as song leader for several years.
On May 20, 1960, he married Wanda Landreth; she preceded him in death March 28, 1996.
He is survived by two children: Rick (Kathy) Brittingham and Vicky (James) Voyles, both of Poplar Bluff; five grandchildren: Logan, Ryan, Haley and Jason Brittingham and Seiarah Voyles; and two brothers: George (Ginny) and Jim (Betty) Brittingham. He was also preceded in death by four siblings: Lucille, Ike, Bill, Bo and Sally.
Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 17, 2020 at White-Sanders Funeral Home, Fisk. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Gary Hancock officiating. Burial will be in Brown Chapel Cemetery at Broseley, Missouri.
