Jerome Lamonte Webb, 47, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2023 at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff.
Jerome “Rome” Webb, born on Jan. 25, 1975 to the late James Henry and Margaret (Webb) Wallace. Jerome is the father of four children: Jerome Webb, Jr., Sierra Towns, Jalicia Mallet, and Areyana Webb.
He enjoyed hooking up stereo systems, listening to music, spending time with his family and friends…..especially his children and of course eating.
Jerome was a Man of God, recently rededicating his life back to God. He was a loyal man, always willing to look out for others and ready to protect those near and dear to his heart. Jerome’s passing broke the hearts of many, especially his children, a grandson Noah Towns, Jr., his siblings Stephen “Wayne” Arrington, Sheila Wallace and Carlos Wallace, his fiancé Tabitha Walters, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, James and Margaret Wallace; two brothers, Virgil Brown, James “Pete” Earls; a sister, Sonya Webb; grandparents, Manual and Fannie Wallace of Broseley, Missouri and Wardell and Lillie Webb of Poplar Bluff.
Visitation will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 21, and the funeral will be at noon at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral, 844 Cedar St. Bishop Ron Webb will officiate.
