Jennie May Davidson, 90, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., died Sunday, February 11, 2018 at Mark Twain Caring Center in Poplar Bluff. Mrs. Davidson was born on April 24, 1927 to Ben and Salley Stephens in Poplar Bluff. On August 6, 1946 she married David Davidson Sr. in Poplar Bluff. He preceded her in death on July 8, 1992.
She attended North Point Church of the Nazarene where she previously served as song leader and church secretary and worked with World Wide Missions. Mrs. Davidson retired from Duckett Truck Center and enjoyed sewing and loved working in her church.
She is survived by her children; David Davidson Jr. (Linda) and Norma Butler, a brother; Neal Stephens, sisters; Barbara Britton, Bessie Edwards and Sharon Welsh and a special brother-in-law; Francis Miller. Mrs. Davidson is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and four great-great-granchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters; Maisie Hendricks, Ellen Lee Osborn, Jean Jones and Ester Miller, brothers; Charles and Albert Stephens.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m., Monday, February 12 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff. A graveside service will be at 11 a.m., Tuesday, February 13 at New Oak Hill Cemetery with Pastor Greg Giberto officiating.
