NEELYVILLE, Mo. — Jane Arlue (Branch) Johnson, 89, of Harviell, Mo.died Monday, July 8, 2019 at the Mark Twain Caring Center in Poplar Bluff. Visitation will be from 2-3 p.m. Sunday, July 14 at the Fowler & Sons Funeral Home in Neelyville. The funeral will follow at 3 p.m. in the chapel with Donnie Fowler officiating. Burial will take place at Ash Hill Cemetery in Fisk, Mo.

NEELYVILLE, Mo. — Jane Arlue (Branch) Johnson, 89, of Harviell, Mo., passed away on Monday, July 8, 2019 at the Mark Twain Caring Center in Poplar Bluff.

Mrs. Johnson was born on June 3, 1930 in Orange County, Calif. She worked as a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, sports and spending time with her grandkids and great grandkids. From 1979-1980, she volunteered at the Crisis Line in Poplar Bluff. She was a member of the Naylor Christian Church where she sang in the choir.

On May 2, 1950, Jane married Alvie Leo Johnson. He preceded her in death on Wednesday, May 25, 2016.

Survivors include, one daughter, Sherry Silkwood of Harviell; one son, Randy Johnson and wife, Mona of Harviell; sisters, Merrilee Johnson, Francie Tomes; brother, Bob Branch; four grandchildren, Shannon (Susan) Silkwood, Holly (Will) Walters, Brian (Daniela) Johnson and Lindsy (Cody) Wilson; as well as eight great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by one son-in-law, Doyle Silkwood; parents, Holly and Lottie Branch; sisters, Jean Smock, Gerry Mondy; and brothers, Almon Branch, WD Branch, Clifford Branch and Bill Branch.

Visitation will be from 2-3 p.m. Sunday, July 14 at the Fowler & Sons Funeral Home in Neelyville. The funeral will follow at 3 p.m. in the chapel with Donnie Fowler officiating. Burial will take place at Ash Hill Cemetery in Fisk, Mo.
