NAYLOR, Mo. - James Arthur McGee, 76, of Festus died on June 8th, 2018 in his home. Mr. McGee was a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force and retired boil maker from Nelco Linings. He was born Jan. 4, 1942 to the late Roy and Lizzie McGee in Naylor, Mo.
Jim was married to Phyllis McGee (Rainwater) on Feb. 19, 1966 for 52 years. They had two children, Curtis Wayne McGee, wife (Christina McGee) of Bridgeton, Mo. and Carolyn Sue Moore, husband (Keith Moore) of Festus, Mo. Jim had two children, from a previous marriage James A. McGee, Jr. wife (Mary McGee) of West Plains, Mo., and Diane (Dee Dee) Woodruff, husband (Larry) of Mountain View, Mo. Mr. McGee is survived by 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Survived by three brothers, Don McGee wife (Sandy) of Lake City, Ark.,John McGee, late (Barb) of Naylor, Mo. and Bill McGee, wife (Sue) of Naylor, Mo. Preceded in death by sister Ruth, sister Barb, sister Patty, sister Linda, brother Dick, Brother Bert, brother Leroy as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at Naylor Memorial on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at 11 a.m. Arrangements are under Fowler & Sons Funeral Home in Neelyville, Mo. Online condolences can be made at fowlerandsonsfuneralhome.com
