Jacqueline Sue Kassing, 84, of Puxico, Mo. passed away Sept. 9, 2020 at Puxico Nursing and Rehab in Puxico.
Jacqueline was born July 18, 1936 to the late Alva and Bellzona (Holsapple) Harper in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. She married Nemo (Bud) Kassing April 27, 1957, in St. Louis, Mo. He preceded her in death.
Jacqueline was a devoted Grandma Jackie. She enjoyed traveling, reading, telling family stories, hugging all her babies while she sang Crawdad Hole, and chatting with all her friends. She was a proud member of NARVE, MOPAC Women’s Auxiliary and the Red Hat Club.
Jacqueline is survived by son; David Kassing; daughter, Laura Milligan; daughter, Linda (Charlie) Pfeil; son, John (Angie) Kassing; grandchildren, Andrea Kassing (Justin Clark), Natalie Hodge (Brian), Jaime Miller (John), Sara Reed (Mitch), Megan Gordon (Alex), Benjamin Pfeil, Shawn Kassing, Matthew Kassing; 14 great-grandchildren; one great- great-grandchild; many loving cousins and her caring church family at South Poplar Bluff General Baptist Church.
Jacqueline was preceded in death by husband, Nemo (Bud) Kassing and her parents.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday, Sept. 14, 2020 at Missouri State Veteran Cemetery in Bloomfield, Mo. with Rev. Keith Luke officiating. Due to COVID the limit of attendees will be 10 immediate family members. All others will have to remain at their cars. Masks are suggested.
