Jackie Ann (May) Morris, 68, of Corning, Arkansas, passed away Dec. 12, 2023 at her residence. She was born June 18, 1955 at DeKalb, Texas to Frank and Naomi “Oliver” May. She was a member of the Grace Missionary Baptist Church, and she had worked as a certified healthcare worker for 33 years. Jackie Ann (May) Morris, 68, of Corning, Arkansas, passed away Dec. 12, 2023 at her residence.

She was born June 18, 1955 at DeKalb, Texas to Frank and Naomi “Oliver” May.

She was a member of the Grace Missionary Baptist Church, and she had worked as a certified healthcare worker for 33 years. She enjoyed crocheting and knitting, visiting with family and friends and caring for her dog, Peanut.

On June 30, 1973 at Wards Creek, Simms, Texas, she was married to Billy Carle Morris. He preceded her in death Dec. 5, 2012.

Jackie is survived by two children, Kelly Ann Samons and husband Heath Samons, and Kala Lynn Holder and husband Ryan; sisters, Charlotte (Cookie) May, Mary Patterson, Sandra June Rothenberg, Laura June Walker, Karen Hodges and Penny Hughes; and brother, Fred May, as well as grandchildren, Hunter Gage McNeely and Jackson Ryan Holder; and many nieces and nephews..

She is preceded in death by her parents, and brothers, Norman Joe Grandberry, Frank May Jr., George (Butch) May, Robert May and James Lee May.

Visitation will start at 4-6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 14, 2023, with a funeral following at 6 p.m. in the Fowler and Sons Funeral Home at Neelyville, Missouri. On Dec. 15, 2023, at Texarkana Funeral Home at 3515 Texas Blvd., Texarkana, Texas, there will be a second visitation from 5-7 p.m. with a graveside service following at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 16. 2023 in the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens at West Seventh street, Texarkana, Texas.
