MALDEN, Mo. - Hester Virginia Laws was born on July 26, 1923 in Little Walnut, Missouri to the late Harry B. Kneibert & Ethel M. Blades Kneibert.
She departed this life on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at the Cypress Point Skilled Nursing in Dexter, Missouri at the age of 94 years 3 months and 19 days.
Hester Virginia Laws had been the Laundry Supervisor at Malden Nursing in Malden and was a member of the Spoonerville Baptist Church in Malden. She was united in marriage to Alva Ramey Laws on July 24, 1959 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. He preceded her in death on December 12, 1978.

Daughter: Jemmalee Hisaw & husband, John of Malden.
Three Grandsons: Jonathan Hisaw of Malden, Jeremy Hisaw & special friend, Manuel Acevedo of Chicago, Illinois & Jon Blayne Hisaw & wife, Elizabeth of Godfrey, Illinois.
Three Great-grandchildren: Clayton Long, London Hisaw & Mila Hisaw of Godfrey, Illinois.
Sister: Mary Catherine McGrath & husband, M.A. of Ocala, Florida.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, twin brother: Harry B. Kneibert, Jr., two sisters: Mildred Brannan & Katie Kneibert , a half brother: Edward Hampton and a half-sister: Edith Sanders.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel in Malden from noon-2 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. at the Landess Funeral Chapel in Malden with Reverend Richard Blagg officiating.
Interment will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Malden.
