HARVIELL — Helen Scripter, 79, of Harviell, died Thursday, July 23, 2020 in her home.
She was born Oct. 25, 1940 to Oscar Lee Bower and Roberta Holman as one of six children. She married Veryl Scripter on Oct. 29, 1960 in Poplar Bluff.
Helen was self employed in house cleaning. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, gardening, bird watching and ministry. She was a member of Jehovah Witness Kingdom Hall in Corning, Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Jim Bower and two sisters Bonnie Twomey and Letha Boyer.
Helen is survived by her husband; her children Nathan (Mary) Scripter, Phyllis (Dexter) Lewis, Bobbie (Buck) Stephens, Jamey Scripter, Tim (Lisa) Scripter, Jody Kelsey, John (Rebecca) Scripter, Leah (Aaron) Owens and Miriam (Coniah) Argenio; sisters Annett Kiepe and Donna Hanks; 32 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, Aug. 1, at 3 p.m. via Zoom with minister Randall Henrichsen officiating.
