Glenda Sue Forbes, 71, of Poplar Bluff, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2019 at her home.
She was born on November 27, 1948 in Doniphan, the daughter of Howard and Peggy (Patterson) Crook.
Glenda lived life to the fullest, she had a vivacious personality and you knew when she entered a room, brightening it with her gift of joy and laughter. She enjoyed shopping and watching a variety of television shows including Hallmark movies and Westerns. Glenda was and avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. Most of all she loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her children, Subrina (Christopher) Berger of Poplar Bluff and Robert (Jennifer) Robison of Naylor; four grandchildren, Luke Berger of Poplar Bluff, Blake Toombs of Dover, Del., Jenna Toombs of Naylor and Lindsay Toombs of Naylor. Other survivors include her siblings, Mike (Becky) Crook of Waterloo, Ill., Patricia (David) Innis of Arnold, Mo., Sheila (Mark) Johnson of Swansea, Ill., Ginger Luckett of Colorado Springs, Colo.; many nieces and nephews.
Glenda was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Larry Crook and a niece, Amanda Innis.
A private family service celebrating Glenda’s life will be held at a later date.
