CORNING, Ark. -- Gladys Wiedeman Goodman, 97, of Corning passed away May 5, 2018 at Piggott Community Hospital in Piggott.
Mrs. Goodman was a homemaker and member of Shiloh Baptist Church in Corning. She enjoyed spending time with her family.
On July 27, 1941, she married Carlos Goodman. He preceded her in death on March 22, 2014.
Survivors include her son, Jerry (Gayle) Goodman of Corning; brother, Charles "Buster" Wiedeman of Hot Springs; grandchildren, Blake (Cathy) Goodman of Corning, Bysshe (Steve) Borris of Jonesboro, and Charnelsa (Tom) Powell of Piggott; great-grandchildren Kallee Crittenden, Trevor and Mattea Pyle, Hannah and Macey Powell, Caroline and Ava Goodman; and great-great-grandchild, Elizabeth Crittenden.
In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by her parents Albert and Ester (Herren) Wiedeman, brother James "Buddy" Wiedeman, and sister Dona Blaylock.
Visitation will be from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Ermert Funeral Home in Corning. Funeral service will follow at 2:30 p.m. with Cliff Clifford officiating. Burial will be at Richwoods Cemetery, Corning.
