DEXTER, Mo. -- Gilbert Michael "Mike" Hester, 61, of Dexter, son of the late Gilbert Christman Hester and Mary Elizabeth Gray Hester was born June 3, 1955 in Poplar Bluff, Mo. and departed this life Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at his residence.
Mike will be remembered by his family as a "One of a Kind" husband, father and grandfather. His personality will be irreplaceable. Mr. Hester was a businessman and was a resident of Dexter. He was a 1974 graduate of Campbell and attended Arkansas State University.
He was united in marriage to Nicole Stuart, Oct. 20, 1989, at Piggott, Ark. Mrs. Hester survives of the home.
Besides his wife, Nicole, he is survived by one son, Chris Hester of Cape Girardeau; two daughters: Michaela Hester (Nathan) Dillinger and Madeline Hester both of Dexter; and two grandchildren: Mila Blaise Clark and Carolina Ann Hester.
There will be a Celebration of Life Ceremony conducted from 4 - 6 p.m., Saturday, May 13, 2017, at the Hester Estate.
