Georgia Price, 81, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, transitioned on July 24, 2020.
Georgia was born on March 10, 1939, to the late George and Martha Kincade in Grenada County, Mississippi.
She married James Lee Price in 1964. He preceded her in death July 5, 2016.
To that union came 12 children, Glen Price of Atlanta, Georgia, Vincent Kincade of Springfield, Missouri, James Lee Price Jr. of Columbia, Missouri, Heather Price of Millington, Tennessee, Anthony Price (Clara), Jeffery Price (Nicole), Darryl Price (Carolyn), Alphonso Price (Earnestine), Richard Price and Angel Price-Bryant, all of Poplar Bluff; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. Also surviving is one sister, Vertie Kincade Halls (Louis) of West Covina, California.
Georgia was preceded in death by her husband; son, Ronald Price; daughter, Phyllis James; and her parents.
Georgia was a retired health care worker, where she served her community for over 35 years.
She pastored Lively Stone Church of God. Georgia was a woman after God’s own heart and wanted nothing more than to see all those she knew and loved saved. “Love” was at the center of every message she preached.
Her annual trips and conferences ministered to women near and far, where many connections and relationships have been established and lives changed forever.
She was a devoted wife loving mother and “Mother Price” to many, many, many people
Visitation will be held on Saturday, Aug. 1, 2020, from 11 a.m. to noon at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff. The home going celebration will begin at noon in the chapel. Burial to follow in the City Cemetery.
