Freda Mae Bryan, 81, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri passed away suddenly and unexpected Aug. 27, 2021 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. Freda Mae Bryan, 81, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri passed away suddenly and unexpected Aug. 27, 2021 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Freda was born on July 18, 1940 to Joseph and Inez Audrey Mae (Reece) Vaughn in Neddleton, Arkansas. She married William Orlando Bryan July 18, 1963. He survives.

Freda and Bill are long time members of the local Jehovah Witness Kingdom Hall in Poplar Bluff. She was an avid reader, cat lover and a collector of all things interesting.

Freda is survived by spouse, William “Bill” Orlando Bryan, brothers, Joe Vaugh (Glenda), Ron Vaughn; sisters, Betty Dover, Sandra Harrison (Don); many nieces and nephews that she helped raise. She was fondly known as Aunt Fifi.

Freda was preceded in death by her parents and three brother-in-laws, Conrad Harrison, Wayne Dover and Bill Pogue.

Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 2, 2021 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. in the funeral home.. Burial will take place at City Cemetery.
