PIEDMONT, Mo. -- Faye O. Sullivan, age 93 of Piedmont, passed away Friday, Jan. 19, 2018 at the Clark's Mountain Nursing Center in Piedmont. She was born Aug. 22, 1924 at Mill Spring, Mo., the daughter of Bill Thompson and Martha (Montgomery) Thompson. A lifelong resident of Piedmont, Faye worked for the New Era Shirt Company and also for Brown Shoe Company. She was a long time member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. She was married to Glen Sullivan June 13, 1942 in Greenville. They were married over 60 years when he passed away Nov. 26, 2002.
Also preceding her in death are her parents, 2 brothers, Herbert Radford and Ralph Thompson, and 3 sisters, Eula Wray, Avalee Hensley and Mirl Fears.
Survivors include 2 children, Judy Dinkins (Mike), of Bonne Terre, Mo., Bill Sullivan (Sue), of Piedmont, 1 brother, Enoch Thompson, of Piedmont and 1 sister, Bernice McEntire, of Piedmont.
Also surviving are 3 grandchildren, Angie Million (Mike), Tammy Brinkley (Scott), Summer Bess (Derek), 6 great grandchildren, Ashley Santhuff, Nathan Mayberry, Reese Bentley, Tori Bentley, Cooper Bess, Erick Brinkley, and 7 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Morrison-Worley Funeral Chapel in Piedmont. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home chapel with Rev. Gary Aubuchon officiating. Burial will be in the Masonic Cemetery.
