Farrell Lynn “Haney” Shipman Sr., age 79, of Qulin, Missouri, died Monday, May 4, 2020, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Shipman was born July 14, 1940, in White Oak, Missouri, son of the late C. E and Henrietta Shipman. He was retired from Federal Mogul. He enjoyed fishing, playing pool and family gatherings.
On July 9, 1977, he married Cindy Owens. She survives.
Also surviving are: two sons, Dennis Shipman of Holcomb and James Magouirk of Qulin; two daughters, Tracy Blume of Glennonville and Donna Walker of Clarkton; one brother, Bud Shipman of Holcomb; three sisters, Carolyn Mullins of Piggott and Terrie Todd and Sue Morgan both of Kennett; 14 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by two sons, Stacy Lynn Shipman and Farrell Shipman Jr.; two brothers, Connie and Bob; and three sisters, Mary Hoffman, Kathy Shipman and Mavis Overall.
Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Friday, May 8, 2020, at White-Sanders Funeral Home in Qulin. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Allen Leutert officiating. Burial will be in Qulin Cemetery.
