DONIPHAN, Mo. — Eva Jean Milner of Doniphan, Missouri passed away peacefully Monday, Nov. 16, 2020. Eva Jean was born Aug. 17, 1930 in Doniphan to Virgil and Opal (Decker) Ponder. On Oct. 2, 1949, she married Louie J. (Bill) Milner. Eva Jean had worked at the Ben Franklin Store and Wright Leather before moving to the suburbs of Chicago. ...

DONIPHAN, Mo. — Eva Jean Milner of Doniphan, Missouri passed away peacefully Monday, Nov. 16, 2020.

Eva Jean was born Aug. 17, 1930 in Doniphan to Virgil and Opal (Decker) Ponder. On Oct. 2, 1949, she married Louie J. (Bill) Milner. Eva Jean had worked at the Ben Franklin Store and Wright Leather before moving to the suburbs of Chicago. In the early eighties, she and Bill returned to Doniphan where she worked in the Ripley County Collector’s Office. Eva Jean was a member of the First Church of God in Doniphan.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Bill.

Surviving are her son, Louie (Theresa) Milner of Doniphan; a sister, Dorothy, and brother-in-law, Bob Looney; sister-in-law, Dorothy Milner; three grandchildren: Ginger (Steve) Kepley, Ty (Stephanie) Milner, and Terra (Cliff) Martin; two great-grandchildren: Keaton Kepley and Aria Milner; four step-great-grandchildren: Matt and Stephani Kepley, Brooke Umfleet, and Ty Martin; and several nieces and nephews.

A private service is scheduled. In lieu of flowers, the family asks memorial be made to Hearts for Rescue.
