MALDEN, Mo. — Eunice Ellen Sparks, 92 of Malden, passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at Winchester Place in Bernie, Missouri.
Eunice, daughter of Walter Wilburn and Alice Brandon Baker, was born on Friday, Dec. 20, 1929 in Malden, Missouri.
She retired from the Malden School having worked in the cafeteria and was a member of the 1st General Baptist Church in Malden.
On Oct. 5, 1950 in Kennett, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Joe Elwood “J.E.” Sparks. He preceded her in death on April 9, 2001. She later married Albert “Andy” Clark on July 12, 2004 in Malden, Missouri. He preceded her in death in February 2020.
Her survivors include daughter, Connie Blake and husband, Keith, of Malden; son, Joe Sparks and wife, Kathy ,of Matthews; son-in-law, Jerry Richardson of Clarkton; five grandchildren, Sara Townsend and husband, Leo, of Malden, Kyle Blake and fiancée, Lyndsey Showsey, of Wilson, Arkansas, Anna Bader and husband, Dylan, of Bloomfield, Autumn Reeves and husband, Blake, of Clarkton, Heather Smith (Jeff Thompson) of Matthews; 18 great-grandchildren, Harper Bader, Ridge Bader, Lucas Richardson, Logan Acup, Aaron Reeves, Megan Mansfield, Rudy Reeves, Martina Aguilar, Jonas Brashear, Jayce Brashear, Jax Thompson, Lakyn Blake, Landon Blake, Millie Townsend, Blake Townsend, Will Blake, Jayse Herron and Connor Herron and five great-grandchildren.
Besides her husbands and parents, she was preceded in death by, two daughters, Carolyn Johnson, Peggy Richardson; two grandchildren, Brian Richardson, Steve Brashear; twin sisters and an aunt, Geneva Brush.
Visitation will be from 6 – 8 p.m., Sunday, May 29, 2022 at Landess Funeral Home in Malden. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Monday, May 30, 2022 at the funeral home chapel with Reverend Stephen Watkins officiating. Burial will follow at Elder Cemetery in Campbell, Missouri.
Landess Funeral Home of Malden will be in charge of the arrangements.
