Eunice R Swenson, daughter of Edward Ritter Roesler and Mildred Louise Roesler (Brockmeier) was born on March 8, 1936, in St Louis Missouri. Eunice departed this life on Tuesday July 27, 2021, at home in Poplar Bluff. Eunice attended the United Church of God in Poplar Bluff.
On February 23,1957, Eunice was united in marriage to Roger Morris Swenson in St. Louis. They lived an adventurous life until his passing on June 22, 2015.
She was also preceded in death by both her parents, six brothers, five sisters, and one granddaughter Christina Tomasino.
She is survived by her son Roger Swenson (Holly); three daughters, Rene’ Tomasino (Guy), Shelly Fuchs (Steven), and Ronda Swenson. Six grandchildren Tiffany Nelson (Andy), Grant Tomasino (Sha uri’), Jon Swenson, Alex Swenson, Steven Fuchs (Mandy Williams), and Christopher Fuchs (Sarah) and four great grandchildren: Wesley Nelson, Brooke Nelson, Jacie Nelson, and Otto Fuchs.
Eunice was a businesswoman who was part of the family business of Teckpak for many years. Eunice had a love for life and a love of people. She travelled all over the world but always thought the best place was home... She was always smiling and willing to help anyone. Her passion for life extended to her family, friends, church, flower garden, and finding a great bargain at Goodwill. Eunice had a philosophy best summed up by Harriet Morgan “Our family is a circle of strength and love… with every birth and every union the circle grows… every joy shared adds more love…every crisis faced together makes the circle stronger."
Visitation will be Monday August 2nd at Willow Ridge Funeral Chapel starting at 11 am. The funeral service will follow at 1 pm with Doug Collison officiating. Burial will be at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Poplar Bluff.
