CAMPBELL, Mo. -- Ersa Jean (Craft) Hefner, 74, passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at 2 p.m., at her home in Qulin, Mo. after a brief battle with brain cancer.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 56 years, Franklin Delane Hefner; son, Kenneth Todd Hefner and wife, Charlene Hefner; granddaughter, Cassondra Hefner and grandson Zachary Hefner, two step-grandsons, Jake and Sean Rock; her sister, Peggy Sue Moore Tinsley, her brother, Herbert Eugene Craft, her mother-in-law, Geniece (Huffman) Hefner; sister-in-law, Rhonda Faye Howe and brother-in-law, Eldred Allen Hefner.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Billy Bob Craft; sister-in-law, Reva Jean Barr; her parents, Cassie Lavern (Hudspeth) Craft and Thomas Andrew Craft.
Ersa was born on May 31, 1943, in Butler County.
She married Delane on June 30, 1962 at Oglesville Baptist Church.
She retired from Boeing in 1997. She enjoys boating, water skiing, cooking and spending time at her family reunions at Bull Shoals Lake. She loved the winter where her and Delane escaped the cold weather to their second home in Lake Wales, Fla. Her favorite love was to spend time with her two grandchildren. Ersa will truly be missed.
Visitation will be from 6 - 8 p.m., Friday, March 16, at the Landess Funeral Home in Campbell. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, March 17, at the funeral home chapel with Bub Ham officiating. Burial will follow at Qulin Cemetery in Qulin.
