Dorothy Rainwater-Pikey

FISK ­— Dorothy Rainwater-Pikey was born Dec. 2, 1934 in Wayne County, Missouri to the late Taylor and Oral Fagg (nee Hull). She died on Dec. 24, 2020.

Dorothy was an LPN at the Doctor’s Hospital for 27 years. She enjoyed flower arranging, yard sales and playing cards. She loved family gatherings and having coffee with friends. She was a believer in Jesus Christ as her Savior. She was an active member of the First Liberty Missionary Baptist Church.

She was married to Grady Rainwater on Aug. 22, 1953. He preceded her in death on Oct. 15, 1995. She was also preceded in death by her son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Debbie Rainwater; son-in-law, Virgil Hollomon; two brothers, Milton and Melvin Fagg; three sisters, Verna Garcia, Marie Hobbs, Nevia Brosheus; and three half brothers.

On April 2, 2005 she married Edward Pikey. He survives. Also surviving are 3 daughters, Cathy Hollomon, Marcia (Rob) Ruble and Sonja (Jay) Sutter; two step sons, Samuel Pasquin and David Pikey; one step-daughter, Carla Pikey; four grand-daughters, Misty, Abbey, Christie and Whitney; two grand-sons, Joshua and Von Paul; five great granddaughters and five great grandsons; several step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and one sister, Elsie Atnip.

Visitation will begin Tuesday at 10 a.m. at White-Sanders Funeral Home in Fisk. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Wayne Page and Rev. Nathan Kirkley officiating. Burial will be in the Greenville City Cemetery.
