POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. — Dorothy Ellen McAnulty, 85, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., died Thursday, April 4, 2019 at Mark Twain Care Center. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 16 at Cotrell Funeral Chapel with funeral services following at noon. POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. — Dorothy Ellen McAnulty, 85, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away Thursday, April 4, 2019 at Mark Twain Care Center.

Mrs. McAnulty, daughter of the late T.G. and Etta (Wilson) Neal was born August 14, 1933 in Charleston, Mo. She was a member of Christian Family Fellowship. Mrs. McAnulty was a store clerk for Hancock Fabric for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, her church family and sewing. Mrs. McAnulty especially enjoyed visiting Israel (which she did 12 times).

On November 7, 1949, she married the Rev. Robert Troy McAnulty in Poplar Bluff. He preceded her in death November 12, 2008.

Survivors include five children, Ruth Mueller of Apple Valley, Calif., Ken McAnulty and Stephanie, of Poplar Bluff, Rhonda Bundy and Dave, of Lake St. Louis, Robert McAnulty and Kathy, of Williston, Fla. and Mary McAnulty; 19 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; a brother, Harold Neal and two sisters, Betty McAnulty and Elsie Kirkman.

A daughter, Cheryl Palmer; son- in- law, Rod Mueller; grandson, Matt Bundy and three brothers, Clarence, Kenneth and D.L. Neal preceded her in death.
