NEELYVILLE, Mo. - Dean Garner, 79, of Neelyville, Missouri, passed away July 2, 2017 at his residence. He was born August 13, 1937 in Dyersburg, Tennessee.
On August 31, 1955 in Holly Springs, Mississippi he was married to Bonnie Jean Price. She departed this life on November 5, 2005.
He is survived by one son, Steven Dean Garner of Neelyville, Missouri; four grandchildren: Renee' Busby, Gary Dean Garner, Amber Rogers, and Billie Jean Garner; and five great granddaughters: Brooke, Hailie, Allyson, Elizabeth, and Emilee Dean.
He was preceded in death by a daughter; Teresa Jean Turner.
He was a farmer, and enjoyed fixing and restoring old tractors, fishing, hunting, playing cards, and talking with friends over coffee at the Stateline Restaurant.
Visitation will be Thursday, July 6 starting at 6 p.m. with the funeral on Friday, July 7 starting at 10 a.m. in the Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel, Inc, of Neelyville, Missouri. Burial will be in the Kinsey Cemetery.
