NEELYVILLE, Mo. — David Kimbrough, 85, of Naylor, Mo., died Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at his residence. He was born February 28, 1934 to the late Leonard L. and Gladys Peters Kimbrough in Chicago, Ill.
Mr. Kimbrough was a farmer, previously worked at Naylor City Hall and had been a resident of Ripley County for more than 40 years. He was married to Neatta Wagoner on October 12, 1968.
Mr. Kimbrough was a member of the Naylor Methodist Church. He enjoyed bluegrass music, playing his banjo with the group, Buzzard Run, meeting and visiting with friends at the Naylor Quick Stop. He also collected coins and was an amateur archaeologist.
Mr. Kimbrough is survived by four nephews and large extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Edward Kimbrough.
Memorial visitation will be from 10 - 11 a.m. Friday, July 5 at Fowler & Sons Funeral Home in Neelyville. The funeral will follow at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 6 in the Franklin Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Winchester Tenn.
